I plan to have my '56 judged this summer and would like to know what items the judges will be looking for in the way of owners manual, keys, license plates and frames, other literature and items that may have been with the car when new that are not mentioned in the judging manuals. Thanks.

The owners manual should be in the glove compartment. I think there may have been a hang tag on the clock, instructions how to set it. The key should be a Briggs Stratton octagon, one key fits all. I would expect the license plate to have no dealer frame. You could present your '56 without plates if you wish. Good luck. Regards, -
