    Location of voltage regulator

I am getting ready to mount my voltage regulator on my 65 300hp coupe. The fender wells have been replaced, there are no holes or dimples to indicate the exact location for the regulator. I have the AIM, I see a pictorial, but no exact location for the regulator, am I missing something in the AIM. Thanks for any help. Leon

Mount on the right forward inner fender with three hex head screws with shoulder washers. You should have your wiring harnes there. Plug in the harness and the ground wire(to one of the mounting screws) BEFORE marking and drilling holes in the inner fender. This should give you a general location for the VR. It doesn't have to be exact. You can also go to your local old Corvette dealer or find someone with a non-air cond. 64, 65 , 66 etc.

Thanks Bob, I located a non air 65 and went and checked it out. It still had the regulator in place and I got the measurements, Thanks again
