    C1 - Dash Pad

Well for a first timer, I should be happy, but at least I learned for the next time, and for anyone else who needs some advise from one who learned the hard way:
1.) The "video" SAYS trim the dash insert foam BUT SHOWS t******* the guage cluster foam. YOU NEED TO TRIM BOTH!!! The pad is now made with the guage foam trimmed back, but you need to trim the insert yourself.
2.) Make the "cut" in the pad through the middle of the insert area but DO NOT cut the vinyl out, only remove the foam as stated above.

3.) NEXT TIME - I may hold off all gluing until the insert and cluster are installed. Same with the speaker bezel too, maybe.

Any thoughts or comments??? If I'm wrong, please offer corrections.
    Thanks!!!
    Jim

No I would agree with you, it is so easy to over trim the aera around the gauge cluster and dash insert. Another area that Al knoch's pad has a fit problem is in the aera of the drivers side at the end cap. You will need to trim some foam from the face ofthe pad adjacent to the cluster or the pad will not go low enough to fit up properly with the kick panel. John
