69 350/350 and Q-jets

With much help from the board I returned my 69 350/350 back to original from a highrise Holley intake and an Edelbrock carb. I thought the hose connections would be obvious but I seem to have more hoses than connections on the carb. The following are questions as much as statements:
The pcv is straight forward and connects to the large pipe on the front of the carb.
The other valve cover breather goes into the air cleaner.
The vacuum advance and the vacuum for the lights/wiper actuators aren't obvious. There is one pipe on the front near the large pcv connector that is slightly larger than the one that comes from the vacuum advance (which makes me think those two don't connect.
There is one final pipe that comes out through the choke mechanism.
I have no smog pump on the car.

What is a good source for understanding the remaining connections. My car is a 68 which I have the AIM for (don't have one for the 69). I also have haynes and the Rochester bible neither of which help me specific to a corvette.

Jim,
Doing this from memory. First, your vacuum for the wipers/ headlights, etc, comes from a fitting on the rear of the intake. If you have power brakes, that hose connects there also.

Your vacuum advance connects to the tube on the drivers side front of the carb.It actually starts as a small rubber hose, connects to a metal tube that bend and follows the inside edge of the passenger side valve cover(there's a clip to hold the metal tube). The tube connects back to a hose that goes to the distributor advance.

The other tube in the carb front goes to the choke "pull off" diapham.

The long tube coming out the side of the choke connects to the smog pump via a hose.

My intake doesn't have the fitting (it just has a plug). I presume with no a/c and no power brakes I should get the fitting that only has one outlet? Given that I don't have a smog pump do I just cap that pipe from the carb?

Another great book is vette vues "Fact Book 68-72 ",MF Dobbins, 4th edition. Page 86 shows a very good shot of the choke side of your carb. The vacuum fitting on the rear intake is a single port.(no PB) I would think you could block off the smog port on the carb.

Figure you have a 7029207 carb. I'm not sure if the choke style is the same for all carbs, or if all 69 L-46 had smog. (help Joe)

The intake manifold vacum fitting which you require for your application had just one nipple.

All 1968-69 Corvette Rochester Q-Jets used the same style choke mechanism. Also, ALL 1968-69 Corvettes were equipped with AIR. Some say that some foreign-delivered cars had it deleted, but I'd need to see a documented original to believe it.
