Re: 63 door fit
Ian,
------If I read your question correctly,it sounds as if you are refering to the vent window frame to top gap.If so,dont bend anything as this problem is adjustable to some degree. You will have to remove the door panel and dust sheild, and then you will see a couple of things.
------1,The vent window assembly pivots at about the same area as the vent-crank.This means that when the very bottom of the big window runner is adjusted out it will pull the very top of the vent window in,and vice-versa.
------2,You will also see, near the vent crank, the various attaching bolts and screws. They have to be loosened to facilitate the adjustments. This also allows you adjust the forward, rearward, upward, and downward movement of the whole assembly,to give you a good uniform gap between the windsheild and vent-window assembly.
------Remember,a little movement does alot of things. As a rule it doesnt take much to achieve your goal.Hope this helps!...........Bill S- Top
