The door windows (non-power) in my '69 convertible are a little hard to roll up and down. I already looked in the AIM how it should work. Are there some parts that normally wear and can be replaced, or does it only need some greasing?

Re: '69 door window regulator
Most likely 'suspect' is nylon roller bearings in the window channel track(s). If bearings or tracks are 'caked' with dried up grease, you'll be 'fighting'. If bearings are worn and presenting excessive side-loading to center shafts, ditto. Just slobbering in fresh grease might not do much.
To really see/understand/fix, it's time to pull the reg mechanism, clean up thorougly along with the glass and fore/aft track. Removal is covered in your chasis service manual. CAUTION! Regulator spring is under SIGNIFICANT tension, follow the R&R steps religiously--you don't want to lose hand/fingers!!!!- Top
