I have the rally wheels for my 1967 Vette at the paint shop. Could someone tell me the correct paint color code and manufacturer, so I can pass this along to the paint shop. Thanks Jim Carmain #37003

Re: Rally Wheel Paint
Painter has to custom blend the paint or buy off-the-shelf 'spritz' from catalogs in shake 'n spray cans.... The formula to blend is add so many drops of a particular green into a particular silver. This was a topic on the board about two months back and the formula is in the archieves....
Glad you said '67, because the 'Argent Silver' blend (with or without greenish undertone) changed depending on the specific year of Corvette. You WANT the early/greenish form of the color. That's why there's some level of confusion and 'right/wrong' formulas running around out there--depends on what year Corvette you're talking about!- Top

Re: Rally Wheel Paint
Jim, For years I've used nothing but the rally wheel paint from Rowley Corvette Supply for my '67 wheels. It comes in large spray cans, goes on easier than anything I've seen and the finish is dead on. If interested, you can contact them at rowleycorvette.com. Good luck, Jim Weeks Member #2978- Top
