    65 convertible deck lid

I have looked in the aim and in the part books and can not find what the two bolts on each side of the inside lip of the deck lid are used for?
someone has put two hex head bolts in there wich are screwed into a threaded clip.
Is there a certin type set up for these?
where can I get the proper hardware. I looked in Dr. rebuild and found two hex bolts with spacers but does not go in to the application.
thanks for the help in advance

Sounds like you are refering to the side mounting bolts for the hardtop. 1/4" chrome bolts with "built on washer"? If that's what you're looking at, that's what they're for.

That would make sense I have a two top converible and only have the soft top and could not figure out what the bolts were holding together.
        Thanks for the response.
