    viberation

I have a 64 roadster. I am getting a viberation(rumble) from (sounds like)the right rear when going around right hand turns at speed,(40mph & up) and also in a straight line when the car is in gear. It gets worse the faster I go. If I go around turns to the left, the noise and viberation disappears. Also, if I put in the clutch, or take the car out of gear, the noise disappears. I had the rear end rebuilt about 2 years ago. It is a 4:11 posi unit. I replaced the pinion snubber, and also the transmission mount at that time. I have not been through the transmission, yet. Can someone give me some ideas to look for to correct this, please? All help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Paul

Have you checked the rear axle bearings, or greased them?

Might start with the simplest and most common causes, the universal joints. The way you described the problem suggests a u-joint. Joel
