Rear shock mounting on Mid Year

I am mounting the rear shocks on my 65 and have "L5" marked upper bolts. My question is the size of the nut. I have a thin nut that is 11/16" across the flats (the bolt head is 5/8" across the flats). Is this the correct nut?
    Thanks,
    Rob

The nut which you describe for the upper shock mount application is EXACTLY the correct nut. Absolutely. Positively.
