I think that most of the tanks available on the market today are manufactured by, if I recall correctly, Superior Tank. I think that this includes those currently available from GM as well as those in the aftermarket. If you want an exactly correct version, then you'll need to purchase from Quanta or one of their dealers.

Here is a point. Regarding the entire NA9 system in my car (California sold 70), this is the only component I didn't check so far. As it doesn't show leaks and the like, I prefer to keep it as is... Can you clean it or will broke if dissasembled?

The seperator is a sealed assembly. I would not attempt to disassemble it. I'd leave it be.

I just got a new tank for my '70 from Quanta Reproductions. They have several styles of 1970 Corvette tanks listed. You might check with them to see if they can provide a correct tank for your application. Theirs have the big A logo on them too. ~Juliet
