I am attempting to put together my 77's tilt/tel. steering column. The column is in place but I am missing some of the parts for the horn assembly and steering wheel. I can not seem to find a good exploded view of the column so that I can accurately identify the missing pieces and the orientation/order of the parts. Does anyone know where I can find a detailed exploded view?
One of the best exploded views of the steering column that you will find is in the Dr. Rebuild Technical Manual otherwise known as the Dr. Rebuild Catalog and available for $5 from Dr. Rebuild. This is the best catalog and/or technical manual that you will find for $5 and, perhaps, one of the best available at ANY price. What's more, Dr. Rebuild actually has IN STOCK many of the internal parts for the steering columns, which are long-since GM discontinued and difficult to find. By the way, I'm not connected in any way with Dr. Rebuild; I'm just telling it like it is.

Catalog ordering information can be found at the Dr. Rebuild web-site which is www.docrebuild.com. You cannot get the catalog by on-line or telephone order, though. So, just send $4 (it's $4, not $5, as I originally stated) to Dr. Rebuild, P.O. Box 6263, Bridgeport, CT 06606. The best $4 you ever spent.

Once again, I express my thanks to you Joe. In the coming weeks I feel I will be posting many questions as I address the little issues with my 77. The experiences and expertise contained here is invaluable to a corvette newbie such as myself.
