    Super T-10 Synchronizers

    Hi guys --

Does anybody know who can supply rebuild parts for a 76 Super T-10 Wide Ratio transmission? Specifically, I need new synchronizer assemblies for the 73. The mechanic says all else is good along with a good cleaning and a general rebuild (which is being done).

I know, I know, it is not the original transmission but am running a bit short on cash right now to go searching for the Muncie. Perhaps at Carslile. I just want to get the car running again!!!!

    Thanks -

    Pat

Try Brian at SK Transmissions in New York.
    Phone 613/957-9427.
He located syncro for my '60 3 speed in less than a day.

The 75+ syncros are discontinued through GM. I'd contact Ed Hartnett. Ed has a side business of rebuilding Muncie and T-10 transmissions and also sells parts. Since he's a good guy, also has a "regular job" and has low overhead, he will give you very fair prices and service. If he doesn't have it, he'll know where you can get it. The number that I have for him is 610-623-9381. However, the area code may have changed. He's located in Lansdowne, PA 19050 and that's the area code you need.
