I am installing the wiper linkage on my 65. Should I lubricate the ball joint at the end of the transmission arm? If so, with what? Is this just a nylon socket over the ball? What about the shaft (where the wiper arms attach) to housing (the part that is attached to the body with 3 screws) bearing? What is inside that dude?
All the joints seem tight, just wonder if they should be dry or lubed.
