if you are not into matching #s,coprrect date thing GM still sells a BB manifold under part# 3933163 that was used on most hi per BB engines from the factory

The original manifold for a 1965 Corvette L-78 was GM casting #3866963 which was GM PART #3876826. This manifold was discontinued in October, 1966. Since it was only used on 1965 Corvettes and passenger cars with L-78 as well as Chevelles with the Z-16 option (very rare), it's a very scarce manifold to find used.

The GM #3933163 manifold which Clem mentioned is VERY similar to the 3866963. The primary difference is the fact that the 3933163 has provisions for a divorced-style choke used for 1966+ applications; the 3866963 does not have such provisions. In any event, the 3933163 will function perfectly for the 1965 L-78 application and it will appear similar to the original but it won't be "correct".

Go to Goggle. Dial in 3866963. You might find one that easily. They have been offered on e-bay in the past. Try the part number or phrases like "intake corvette" "BBC intake" " 396 intake" "427 intake" you get the idea.
