Ballast Resistor

Need to make an old 67 ballast resistor look new. What's the trick to make it white again? Thanks

I have had pretty good luck with wet-or-dry sand paper. Wet sand the resistor with approx. 220 grit paper, it will remove a lot the yellow color. John
