On one of my front coil springs(71 LS5) there are 2 rubber spacers. should I remove them? How do I checkout if springs are ok or should be replaced? I think maybe my driver side is a little lower than the right side of car.

Re: Coil springs *TL*
I assume the rubber spacers you refer to are between the coils of the spring. Those are not factory installed and are not a good idea. They are used to restore proper ride height to a sagging spring, or to raise the car for increased ground clearance.
Springs can be checked for proper ride height by measurements which are given in both the 1971 Factory Service Manual (FSM) and the Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM).
