66 radiator

My 66 Coupe appears to have the correct part number on the aluminum radiator but a date of 76M. Ditto for the expansion tank. Were these part numbers used through 1976? Just curious

The aluminum radiator and expansion tank were manufactured for SERVICE long after their PRODUCTION use ended. Both were still being manufactured until the mid-80s, or so. You apparently have SERVICE parts installed that were produced in 1976. Except for "dates", they should be exactly the same as the original pieces.

GM continued to make service spare part runs for a number of years after initial production usage of various components ceased.
