84 clutch problem

Hello everybody,

got a problem with a 84 Vette with manual transmission.

Does someone know if part #14047673 is still available from GM?
It's the PIPE CLUTCH ACTR. CYL.
All data are from a GM catalog printed in 1988 for 84-85 Vettes.

Have problems to buy it in Germany.

GM #14047673 is discontinued. However, a supercessive part number may be available. I'll have to check later on this.

I'm afraid that I've confirmed the worst---the GM #14047673 clutch cylinder pipe assembly was discontinued without supercession in March, 1997.

Unfortunately, we've now reached the point where many of the components for C4 Corvettes, particularly early C4s, are "biting the dust". Inasmuch as C4 Corvettes are the highest parts-content Corvettes ever built, this is going to present a problem for C4 owners and restorers. I'm not optimistic that a large number of these parts are going to be reproduced.
