I am putting a new rear end in my 72 BB with 3:55 gears. Does anybody know which one I should install? What color, how many teeth? Thanks in advance,

Assuming that your tire diameter (or revs per mile) is close to stock, you will require a speedometer DRIVEN gear of GM #3987922. This is a SILVER-colored gear of 22 tooth count. It's still available from GM.
