Re: 69 steel wheels
Richard, The steel wheels in '69 were coded "AZ" which are still available today. I think there is one small difference in that the original ones were welded and the new ones(still made by Kelsey-Hayes)are riveted or it may be visa-versa. Someone else here could probably elaborate. The original tire size was an F70-15. They were not radials.- Top

Re: 69 steel wheels
Paul----
Both the original and current-day "AZ" wheels are of welded construction. There are minor diferences in the modern wheels, but they are very slight. The wheels are available from GM under part #327708 or from independent Hayes Wheel dealers under Hayes #81982(NWRA #X-40317).In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Door Sill Screws
Don,
I picked up the impact driver and it was great. It took a while and a lot more squirts of WD40, but I got all of them out without having to drill them out. I guess the thing I learned most is that patience and persistence is the key. Thanks for the recommendation.
