Well I hope to add mine to the list someday. Its a late production July 8th 1968 to be exact. Green coupe with blk leather 327/350 m21. Bought it from the second owner who has had it since 1971. Good for me that he just enjoyed driving the car and kept it original. Its been many years since owning my last '71 conv LT1. I'm enjoying the challenge the 68 presents. It can be frustrating but rewarding as well. I was very surprised how many Corvette experts know so little about them. I was told my frame was not original cause it had braces in the rear. I was told my door panels didn't come with additional pulls mounted under the pull "pocket". Well so far I've learned the frame is original , just a late version. The door pull handles were added to models built after April 1968. Oh yes ... about that frame... I only have the rear and front sections cause good old New York road salt ate away the rest.

If there was a car built that could deliver you to "Head Bangers Anonomus Club", it's a 68!

Changling years really can put you through hoops with the mix of 67 vs 68 components.

Hey how did you end up with more frame than me? I don't even have the front frame ends!!!!

My late June coupe is just another casulty of Mother Natures sorry sense of humor.

            Good luck with your project.

            Chuck

Thanks, I really can't get over how many parts are unique to this animal. I had my first ride in my cousins brand new 1968 coupe when I was 15. He musta paid somebody off cause he had the very first one in my home town. The car didn't make it to its first birthday. Shortly after my ride in it it was hit while parked. The truck drove into the front of it and smashed it into his wifes 1967 GTO parked behind it!
