    '56 Bumperette Support Tubes

    What color should the bumperette support tubes be on my Venetian Red/Shoreline Beige '56? My books are at the restorers so I am relying you fine experts!

      For what it's worth...

      I have a '55, BUT- The unrestored (with plenty of mileage) tubes on mine appear to be semi-gloss black, and a set of '54's I have lying around match that description, about the same as the engine compartment.

              I just finished my 57 same color and all. The tubes are semi-gloss black.
              So say the NCRS judges at Laughlin. Goof luck.
