How do you remove the chrome lock piece on the inside rear of the door panel??

It has a "C" clip similar to the vent window handle.
If it is anything like mine, it is a pain to get out.
There is a "C" clip removal tool.

Carl,
------Very hard to use most c-clip removal tools on the door locks.Years ago I took a 90 degree pick that had the tip broken and shortened it up.With just barely a turn on the end of the pick,you can go in and grab the c-clip and pull it out.You will have to push the doorpanel back just far enough to get a glimpse of the clip so you can see where to pull from.Just be careful and you will get it and never damage the door panel.......Bill SComment

An angled pick works or you can make one from a heavy paper clip. Hook the loop of the clip and pull it out.Comment
