    65 tank stencil

I've looked through the archives and my vast referance library, I may have missed it but I have'nt found any information that helps me locate where the fuel tank stencil should go. I think it's supposed to be on the passenger side and right side up. I also think the color is black ink roller. Could someone please confirm this or set me straight. Thanks Jerry

You can get the stencil from Quanta, or at least I did for my 1971. They made one for me to match the numbers I found on my original tank. I then used their "Stencil Ink" in a spray bomb to replace the numbers. It worked well.

In 1971 at least the numbers were on the right hand side of the tank. I know that if you have Noland's Vol. 2 you can find pictures of the tanks.
