    could someone please tell me which month the first 4 speeds were available in 57's. and if it includes dealer installed.

      Available May 1st according to the Judging Guide. Don't know about dealer installations. Regards

              document recites "These assemblies to be supplied from first production run
              (approx. 4-29-57)." BUT the "29" is crossed out and is "15" handwritten over it.

                      I have an early car that has a 4-26-57 tail date, this was most likely a dealer install.
