    59 door internal reassembly sequence

    Hi Guys,

I'm about to reasemble my doors and remember thinking to myself when dissasembling the components that I must remember the sequence as otherwise some parts will be near impossible to get in.

So of course I have forgotten the sequence so does anyone know the correct sequence of assembly for all of the internal components.

    Thanks as allways,

    Mark.

Mark, I will do the best I can from memory. The regulator MUST go in first. You can only get it in the door if the support under the bottom of the door post is removed. All the latch and lock parts should then go in, followed by the rear window run. Now install the side glass into the front and rear run followed by the semi-circle track and then attach the window frame to the bottom track after slipping it over the rollers of the regulator. The only absolutes that I recall is that the regulator will not go in with out removing the support, and the latch parts cannot be insalled after the runs and tracks. I hope this helps
