I've seen in a recent publication a picture of a 59 with glue used to mount the body cushions to the frame before body drop. Is the use of glue "correct"? If so, what kind of glue simulates factory correct?
Thanks,

For weatherstrip and gasket cement used to be NUTS-ON in appearance. (brownish dull yellow) It's fantastic for holding something in place. The changed the color lately.
Give Tom Maxwell a call for his weatherstrip glue. It's the same stuff and you may be able to add some brown leather dye or food coloring to darken it up a tad.
