I run P255/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's all the way around. The steering is acting really funny, and when turning to the right ifeel this harder resistance that if I turn it just a bit further then it 'snaps' and then feels ok. When it snaps though I can feel it jump really fast oversteer to the right. I have checked the power steering fluid and there is enough in there, and its level has not changed. I have no idea if its a tie rod or slave powersteering system, or even my alignment. If anyone has any ideas give me a yell please, because I have no idea what it may be.
The steering in my 80' feels funny?

Re: The steering in my 80' feels funny?
It could be a number of things, but I'd check the "rag joint" coupling between the end of the steering column and the steering gear - when they deteriorate, the "safety pins" on the lower half of the coupling start to ground out in the openings for them in the upper flange, and you then have metal-to-metal contact and weird noises.- Top
