    1959 trim plate/assist bar assembly

    I am trying to install a new "corvette" logo plate into the plate bracket. I need some help with a method to bend the new plate into position so I can install the top & bottom chrome pieces. Any hints/directions would be appreciated.

      It can be a bit aggrivating, but if you start at one end and work around it will eventually all fit together. Patience is a virtue with those things.

              Get some strong rubber

              bands and an assistant - fit the three pieces on one end together, band it and move inward, adding more as needed. When you get to the other end and want to make it permanent, J&B Weld sometimes works as well as solder.
