59 Ignition switch spacer.

Hi Guys,

I am trying to find out whether there is an additional spacer for the ignition switch.

I have the switch, the plastic facia (this has the printed switch positions on it) and the screw on bezel.

It appears that there should be a spacer between the switch and the plastic facia in order to lock both the switch and facia to the dash and stop the switch from turning around.

I have seen a "ferule" advertised and I ordered one but only received another Bezel.

Any help will be much appreciated,

Mark, there is a chrome plated spacer between the threaded nut and the plastic backplate. It has a raised "notch" that fits into the cutout notch in the plastic backplate and a similar sized notch in the dash. Once you tighten the threaded nut all of the parts will be secure.
