Does anyone know the name of the owner of Orange COast? They duped me out of $500 last year. I'm trying to find out if they opened a new business under a different name. THanks.

Re: Orange Coast Corvette
Randy,
Their web site is still open, but I had my order totally messed up by them 2 years ago. It took over 6 months to get anywhere near fixed, and once the money was about even I gave up. I then bought the rest of the parts elsewhere.
I will never use them again.

Orange Coast Corvette = OCVette = old R&J
Determining the owner of Orange Coast Corvette or OCVette or OC or what ever they are called is a very interesting question. I cannot with total honesty say that I know for a fact that the following two individuals are partners or co-owners or boss and flunky. I can tell you that the same two fellows were involved with another business (R&J Corvette) that went total belly up bankrupt about 8 years ago. At that time Joe Marlow was the boss and Rod Olsen was the helper. After they folded R&J, it reopened using the same catalog as R&J with an OC sticker on the cover. Except now Rod Olsen was the boss and Joe Marlow was the helper.
I have recently scanned 5 informative pages from the bankruptcy and will post them soon. Poor fellows, when R&J owed 1 million, they blew or lost 4+ million of inventory so that they ended up with only $30,000 in assets when they were liquidated. I wonder where the 4+ million inventory went. Joe said it was to pay creditors. But the legal documents sent to me by the court as a creditor said they only had $30,000, so I have always been certain that both Joe Marlow and Rod Olsen were just plain full of ****.- Top

Re: NO, NO, NO - J&D Corvette in in Bellflower
Geoffrey,
Thanks for the emphatic "NO" re: J & D in Bellflower...my mistake! I had occasion to visit them some 15 years ago and purchased some parts, finding them very helpful and reasonable to deal with. By the way, does 'TMCS' translate to Terry Michaelis Corvette Supplies? If it does, I understand there's a real story behind that name...
