ON THE UNDERSIDE OF MY VERY ORIGINAL 65 COUPE I HAVE NOTICED A GREEN COLOR ON THE FLOOR BRACKETS RIVETED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE FIBERGLASS..ALSO THIS SAME COLOR IS PAINTED ON THE SIDES OF THE CAR In BACK OF THE ROCKERS..IS THIS A RUST PREVENTATIVE PRIMER..?? WHERE CAN I GET THIS PAINT FOR MY RESTO..?? THANKS..RICK

Yes, this is a Green zinc phosphate primer used on brake line clips areas under the dash and the brackets that hold the rockers awa other area I'm sure. L.I. Corvette sells this 1-800 466-6367. Good Luck- Top

The entire steel "birdcage" of the body, and other brackets, etc. (more or less depending on if your car body is Smith, or St.Louis)were primed with zinc chromate. Be forewarned, that the zinc chromates available today, as well as the zinc phosphate substitutes, are formulated with a much more "olive green" color.
I tried, but failed to find a z-c or z-p of the original color.
