C4 electric window problem

I have a 94 vette, and the window is now stuck in the down position. I have removed the door panel, and I here a clicking sound, but the motor does not function. My question is this, does anybody know how I can get it back up until I can get it repaired? With the window down the car is useless. I am afraid to park it anywhere without the ability to lock it. Any suggestions would be welcome.

The problem is solved! I just read a message from ezboard.com, and it worked. Thought I would post the answer here. Some guy had a brother who worked at a Porche garage who told him to hit the motor. I figured what the heck, works with tv's. I took a socket extension, rested it on the window motor, tapped lightly with a hammer, and guess what? I worked, the window went right up. Amazing, yet true.

Had the same problem on my 1992. Somebody on CRPL told me to just 'slam" the door. Yup! Worked! VooDoo Engineering at it's best!
