    Was the same forging number used for both the 55-56 arm and the 57-62? I was unable to confirm that and that's why I used the term "may" with reference to a possible 57-62 forging number.

    The '56-'57 AIM shows the '56 pitman arm as P/N 3714673 (was also used in '55), replaced on 3/27/56 by P/N 3733446 (identical except for added requirement for shot-peening); my 1973 P&A30B has no listing at all for C1 pitman arms - only for '63-'74, so they were discontinued prior to '73.

      I could find no answer to your question. My '60 parts book yield no clue nor does Ken Kayser's "Countdown to Gold" article in "Vette Views." Regards,
