I will take some pictures and sent them to you. The ws posts had broken tabs and I had them redone by Corvette Central but everything fit ok. If the tabs were too big the ws would not have fit back in the frame. I will send pictures direct to you .

Please post your resolution James, as I have a similar softtop-to-windshield gap. I thought mine might be due to top shrinkage from 30 years of storage, but maybe it's something else.

As soon as I find out what the problem is I will post it. Although with the summer cruising weather here I do not plan on removing the windshield again until the fall unless I get really annoyed at the frustration of not having a top at night when it gets a little cool out. The Syracuse nationals are in town this weekend and there should be a number of Corvetts that I can look at and maybe I can get some insight on the problem. In any case I will post how to correct the problem.Comment
