A/C HOSES

I am in the process of conveting the A/C in my 1972 454 Coupe to R134a.

I just bought the car and the previous owner said the A/C stopped working 5 years ago.

The compressor was froze. I replace both the compressor and drier.
When doing the pressure check I found a big old hole in one of the main lines.

Now I need: Main Compressor Hose Unit (with muffler etc)

The Hose from the Expansion Valve to the Condenser (which is

really two hoses, one rubber and it is connected to a short

metal line that goes into the Condenser).

I tried Auto Zone and O'Rileys with no luck.

Where is the best place to get these parts, for both price and service?
Are there part numbers available on the internet?

You could check with Dr. Rebuild and The Last Detail for original type hoses. With all that you are doing to your 72 to get the air system in tip top shape with new parts you just might reconsider using R12 for superior cooling in a Vette.
There is a business locally that is called Industrial Rubber I believe I saw an add one time where they could put new hoses on the old connections. Perhaps there is a business like that in your area.

Classis Auto Air in Tampa, FL made a 69 setup for me for a reasonable price. Not original but works
