C-2 Power Booster Air Check Valve/Filter

I hope that is the correct name. I have a great power booster waiting to go on my 67. The only problem is the check valve, the plastic valve, mine is not off white, it is black. I have a correct NOS valve. Is this something that is easily changed/swapped out? If possible I would like to have it correct before I install the unit. The car is a judge NCRS car. Suggestions/guidance.

If you mean the check valve on the front of the booster that accepts the vacuum hose to the intake manifold, it'll pop right out of the rubber grommet in the booster - just pull and twist and it'll come right out. The correct ones are off-white, many functional replacements are black.
