Joe - I was planning to use ARP head bolts in the 66 425 build up....I used ARP head studs on my LS6 crate with the L89 heads...probably not necessary since I don't plan to take it apart anyway. What about ARP main studs vs bolts...does ARP make the studs for the windage tray like GM? Or, should GM be used with ARP to hold the tray. Also, I plan to get the GM white rods with 7/16" bolts, the original floating pin rods with boron bolts are way to expensive these days from GM....and it appears the rod is the same except the small end being pressed and the bolts. I was thinking of changing to ARP wavelocks and I assume they may a BB Chevy rod bolt in 7/16". I suppose this will require a recondition of the big ends even though there are new from GM.....thoughts on this?
