Thanks for your response. I am the same way. I have a hard time having someone else do the work for me. Although, I will admit, when I was setting up the trailing arms, I took them to the local Corvette shop to have them confirm the shim size. They suggested a different size and I went with their reconmendation. It took me over a year to disassemble the car. I loved every minute of it. Even the 7 hours it took me to 'remove' the right side #3 body bolt. I have never drive my '63 (had it since '97). I am enjoying working on it, but I will admit, I am getting a little edgy and I want to drive it soon. Maybe this spring.

A least I put 450 miles on the car before taking it apart. I bought it in '97 and still haven't finished dismantaling it yet. I just hope it doesen't end up like all the kitchen appliances and power tools I have taken apart in the past.
