Joe I rescued 2 boxes of new GM hyd. lifters from the scrap pile at work .do they have any Corvette applications or should I have left them in the trash ? gr.#0459 pt# 5234212

The GM #5234212 lifters were never used for any Chevrolet V-8 application. Their primary application is the GM 60 degree V-6 engine family (2.8L, 3.1L, 3.4L), although they may have other applications, too. They are still available from GM. I don't understand why anyone would throw them away; these engines are VERY common in a wide range of GM vehicles.
