    '58 engine problem

Here are the symptoms....rough idle...inbetween shifting w/clutch in, rpm's rev high. That's it-appears to run okay once I get going. I have some thoughts but would like some from the board first. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

    Terry,

If it was my 71, I'd say vacuum leak. I had similar problems for a leak that I fixed this past winter. I can idle to 500 rpm smooth as can be now.

Thanks Patrick-vacuum leak was suggested to me/you just confirmed it. I'm on it this weekend. TP
