Actually it's more than just wiper arms, but here we go. First what type of black should the wiper arms on a '71 be--flat black or matt black? Second on the wiper door what color should the pivot arms be? Are they natural, black or covered with some body color overspray? Finally there are two metal tabs that have small bolts that connect into the pivot arms. Mine are rusted but appear to be natural metal. Should they be a galvanized look or a zinc plate or some other color/plate? I've looked in the NCRS Tech manual, but these areas aren't covered. Thanks in advance.

Re: Wiper arms.
Bob,
Without removing the door here is what I see on my 71. The brackets that hold the door appear to be painted black. I have a hint of body color on the driver's outboard side bracket (the part that doesn't move). The arms (parts that elevate the door) are all black. The stop/adjustment screws are rusty on my car as well, so I can't help you. I don't know if you have pulled them out yet, but the part that is not exposed to the weather may show an indication of finish. I can email you a picture if you like. Hope this helps.
