    C1 trunk lip screw type

What is the correct screw (273446?) for the lip of the tire well on the 1958 trunk? Size, shape, type?

    Al -

    They're zinc-plated Phillips-head self-tapping screws, #10 I think - Corvette Central has them (17-pc. set).

Thanks John, and another question - are they painted?

Al, They were installed after painting and were left unpainted, and Loren is right, Your local hdw store has them for less. Just be sure that you get pan head phillips, this style head is not a half round but a slightly flattened oval head. Regards, John McGraw
