    Sting Ray 67

    Hi there!

I have the opportunity to acquire a convertible 1967 Sting Ray but I am not sure about the engine in this car. The ID number stamped in the upper part is T06 44 CRW. Could you let me know what type of engine this is since I think that the original 427 has only 2 letters to end the ID and not 3.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

It's a 1975 350 from a full size Chevy or a 1978 305 from a G body car. See the link. The casting date should help you narrow it down.

      If it's a big-block engine, the "CRW" suffix says it's a 270hp LS-5 454 out of a '72 Monte Carlo.
