My trusty old GMC strecth cab was totaled last week and am looking for a new vehicle. I am considering a Tahoe/Youkon, but would like to hear from other people who are hauling a car trailer with one. I am a little concerned about the short wheelbase on the Yukon, but the short wheelbase is part of what makes it an attractive option for in-town driving and parking garage acccess. I would appreciate comments. Regards, John McGraw

Re: Tow vehicle
We have a Dodge Dakota 4 door pickup which we have used on several occasions to tow Greg's project '65 around with a borrowed trailer. Much to Greg's dismay I love driving his truck. It rides really nice, has a good turning radius and fits easily into parking garages. The interior is cush and can hold 5 comfortably and you still have room in the bed for hauling car parts & stuff from the weekly Home Depot run. It's much more versatile and commuter-friendly than the Surburban or Dually we had before. And it gets about the same gas mileage as my C4! ~Juliet
