Removing inner windshield trim items will give you extra clearance--you'll want that if its the UPPER DASH PAD you want to lift up/out. Be 'gentle' when you wiggle/sniggle the pad up & out as time & sunbake as outgassed some of the plasticizers originally part of the plastic/vinyl composite. Also, make sure you remove in a two step process (gently lift up/over center console and instrument cluster without applying too agressive of a lift to free the 'lip'.
Then, once you have general mobility of the upper pad, make sure you disconnect appropriate speaker lead wires before trying to pull it fully free. I suggest removing the passenger side trim panel before you do much of anything so you can see up/under the dash pad AND unscrew the fastening bolt on the RH of center console bracket before attempting the final lift/removal.
