    Pivot pin grease fitting

The grease fitting on the right side upper control arm pivot pin on my 62, was totally blocked with hardened crud. After cleaning it out and re-installing the pivot pin will still not allow the grease to flow so I guess some blockage is in the pin itself. As luck would have it it's the fitting which is inboard just opposite the part of the body where the battery sits so I cannot access the hole to clean it out. Are there any tricks to open this passageway up without pulling the pin itself? Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me.
