    66 F41 Shock Labels

On 1966 F41 rear shocks - did the white paper broadcast letter code stickers face the rear or the front of the car? I took my original F41 shocks off the car to clean them and forgot which direction they face.

    Do you REALLY THINK

that the guy on the line installing the shocks PAID ANY ATTENTION TO WHICH WAY THE LABEL WAS FACING????!!! If the shock he pulled out of the box was NOT labelled, it STILL GOT INSTALLED.

      It was installed

in the easiest way for the judge to see it as he looks under the car. Remember that most chassis judges are in the 250# + class, so make it easy for them.

      tee hee.

Regardless of which way, the labels should be lightly rubbed with a solution of 0.01% detergent and DISTILLED water before installation.
