    C3 - AC Fan Problem

I have a 72 with AC and the fan has started operating in the off positon whether the AC is on or off. The fan does not operate in the HI(4th) position at all. Any suggestions on what to do?

The first thing you always do is check grounds, but beyond that, there is an AC Fuse, an extra max switch near the controls, and a relay out on the plenum in the engine compartment. These are the major culprets usually.

Hello, My 72 fan speed control 4th position (hi) was not working and it ended up being that the relay near the exhaust manifold ( black plastic with 3 connectors from the ac compressor) was coroded and needed clean. There is also a highblow relay that when bad will cause this ( silver metal fuse ) Eric
